Above Yosemite

Some days begin before sunrise and keep unfolding long after you think your legs have nothing left. Half Dome was one of those days.

The trail moved from cool forest to open granite, every turn revealing a little more of Yosemite. At the top, the scale of the valley made the long climb feel briefly weightless.
